My Mid Devon Portal

Mid Devon residents can now manage local services relevant to them with the My Mid Devon portal, all from the comfort of their home.

The portal provides residents access to various online facilities, from leaving feedback to reporting issues, finding information about local councillors and much much more! Since its launch in late 2023, more than 5,000 residents have signed up, making it easier than ever to access local services online.

By creating an account on My Mid Devon, residents can enjoy a more personalised experience when managing their requests and services. The portal allows users to easily track the progress of their enquiries and see exactly who is handling their case – with the added benefit of making it simpler and faster for customer services to help you.

Sandford VE Day 80th Anniversary

VE Celebrations – The Parish will be hosting several activities to mark the 80th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe.

Thursday 8th May, 7.30pm
Sandford Parish Church will host a 45-minute concert by the Crediton Town Band, playing a selection of wartime favourites.

Saturday 10th May, 3.00pm
Sandford Parish Hall will be the venue for a 1940’s themed “Cream Tea” for Parishioners. Tea, Coffee and Squash will be provided along with fresh scones, clotted cream and jam (prepared the Devon way!). We would also like to invite budding cake bakers to bring along home baked cakes to share.

We are hoping host a display of Wartime memorabilia, so if anyone in the parish has photos or mementos that they are prepared to bring and to help create a display you would be most welcome. Louise Hooper will help co-ordinate the display on the day. There will also be prizes for the best wartime outfits, so please get dressed up!
