This year five people were nominated by their peers for special recognition. The awards were announced at the Annual Parish Meeting on 21st May and the recipients for 2025 are:

·         Tony Wright
For services to the Parish Hall Committee, Sandford Parish Council and Sandford AFC
Nominated by Chris and Kris O’Connor

·         Linda Lever
For contributions in setting up and running the Millennium Green and Sandford Community Stores.
Nominated by Di Martin and Charlie Werner

·         Malcolm Vallance
For 42 years’ service as Parish Clerk and the many hours of voluntary work. Nominated by Chris and Kris O’Connor

·         David Hope
For services to the Parish Council (Play Areas) and for driving forward the new Basketball Court. Nominated by Richard and Debby Ward

·         Margaret Squires
For services to local Government as a councillor at Parish, District and County level.
Nominated by Richard and Debby Ward.
